Desrosiers’ Busy Summer

Along with participating on the Gauntlet, 2017 wing Jérôme Desrosiers was invited to the Adidas Uprising camp in Chicago, IL. The camp featured some of the top players in the US. He was one of the few underclassmen invited to camp and was recognized as one of the top performers by SLAM magazine.

Jérôme will once again be representing Team Canada at the U17 FIBA World Championships in Dubai, where he’s expected to have a key role on the team.

In a recent warmup tournament in France, he was named tournament MVP as Team Canada finished 4-0 and were tournament champions.

Best of luck J!

Adidas Nations Global in Los Angeles

The head coach of this year’s Canadian contingent was led by Program Director Joey McKitterick!
4 Brookwood Elite players were also named to participate among some of the best the country has to offer. Joseph Chartouny, Jordan Aquino, and Junior Farquhar were chosen to represent Canada, while Richardson Maître was named to Team Africa!

After dropping their first 2 games vs Team USA – Howard and Team USA – Lillard, they bounced back to defeat Team Africa, Team Asia-Pacific, and Team Latin America.

What an amazing summer. In total, the programmed collected 12 Championships!
Our 17s cemented Brookwood Elite’s status as a premier Summer basketball program after a strong showing in the Adidas Gauntlet, reaching the Final 4 of the Adidas Invitational which saw their incredible win streak reach 18 games!
The summer wrapped up with an Elite 8 finish at Super 64 in Las Vegas. Their never say die mentality, and cohesiveness were keys to their success, and quickly became a fan favorite among the media as well as among NCAA coaches. Several players have multiple scholarship offers, and with a solid core returning next year, expect them to yet again exceed everyone’s expectations

Our 16s competed throughout the entire circuit. Plagued by injuries throughout the spring/summer, the team really started to peak in July as they reached the Elite 8 of the Adidas Invitational, followed by a 2ndplace finish at the Basketbull HOF invitational in the U17 division.

Our 15s started the AAU season hot, capturing the HOF Spring Classic Championship, and winning the B.A.B.E and DJ Sports Hangtime titles! They were an exciting group to watch, as their speed and athleticism made them a crowd favorite. They finished up with an Elite 8 finish at the Adidas Invitational.

The 14s were the team to beat in every tournament they played in. With a strong core returning from last year’s successful squad, the team went undefeated until their final tournament in July when the squad was split with the 15s for the HOF National Invitational. They captured the HOF Spring Classic, DJ Sports, B.A.B.E, Brookwood Elite Invitational, and Adidas Invitational. Several players made noise on the national recruiting scene. This group will be a scary one for years to come.

Our newest addition to the program was a U13 team. In their first tournament they reached the Final 4 of the Spring Classic, followed by capturing 2 local titles! They reached the Final 8 at the Adidas Invitational as well. As they continue to grow and develop, look for them to be a force on the circuit!

We are proud of all our teams. We’d like to thank all the players and staff for your commitments this year.
A special thank you to the parents of all our players in the program. We thank you for your presence throughout the spring/summer. None of this would be possible without your cooperation and amazing support.
Thank you.
